A CRM built for sheds, not retrofitted
ShedOS is a vertical CRM and business operating system built specifically for the shed industry — manufacturers, dealers, and shed-only retailers. It's an internal Neuron Media product, currently in active development with Amazon Sheds & Gazebos in Fort Myers as the founding tenant.
Most software in this space is general-purpose CRM bolted onto a shed workflow. ShedOS handles shed-native operations — custom configuration, on-lot inventory, delivery scheduling, RTO contracts, and dealer networks — as first-class entities, not workarounds.
It's published as a build-in-public project and serves as proof of Neuron's full-stack software engineering capability beyond traditional agency work.
A pattern we kept seeing in the field
After years of working with shed companies, a consistent pattern emerged: existing CRMs (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce) require expensive, time-consuming customization to handle shed-specific workflows. Consultants charge heavily for configurations that still don't feel native. Small shed dealers can't afford enterprise CRM + implementation overhead. Larger manufacturers end up with fragmented systems patched together by spreadsheets.
ShedOS handles these workflows natively — no customization required, no consultant engagement to get started. Flat subscription pricing, no per-shed fees.
Architecture decisions that matter
- 46-table entity map across 7 domains
Domains: Platform, Customer, Catalog, Operations, Inventory, Integrations, 3D Viewer. Every table has a clear owner domain and explicit relationship map — designed to hold up under real multi-tenant load, not just demos.
- Multi-tenant architecture with RLS enforcement
tenant_id on every table, Row Level Security enforced at the database layer via Supabase policies. Phased toward hybrid architecture at scale. Tenant isolation is a hard guarantee, not a convention.
- Event-driven core — 28 named events
All state transitions flow through a named event system rather than direct mutations. This makes audit trails trivial, rollback possible, and integration with external systems clean — no custom webhook hacks needed.
- Pricing cache with snapshot-frozen prices
Relational pricing_items rebuilt into pricing_cache JSON — prices are frozen at quote time, not recalculated at invoice. A customer's quote is always honored exactly as written, regardless of later price changes.
- Ledger pattern for all inventory movements
No destructive updates to inventory records. Every movement (receive, sell, transfer, adjust) appends a ledger entry. Current stock is always a computed view, not a field that can be accidentally overwritten.
- Autonomous multi-agent build — 9 phases
The build plan was executed across 9 phases using Claude Code in a multi-agent configuration. This is itself a proof point for Neuron's AI-augmented development capability — not just for marketing, but for production SaaS.
